Send a complete notice to support@xfoacommunity.com. XFOA will preserve the request, restrict content when appropriate, and review it promptly.
Copyright notices
If you believe content hosted or displayed by XFOA infringes your copyright, identify the copyrighted work, the exact XFOA URL or location of the material, your contact information, and the action you want taken. Include a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized, a statement under penalty of perjury that the notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act, and your physical or electronic signature.
Privacy, likeness, and non-consensual content
You may also report content that reveals private information, impersonates you, uses your name or likeness without permission, or depicts intimate material without consent. Include the location of the content, why it should be removed, how XFOA can verify your identity or authority, and a safe way to contact you. Do not email additional intimate material unless staff specifically requests a secure method.
Counter-notices
If your content was removed because of a copyright notice and you believe the removal was a mistake or misidentification, contact the same address. Identify the removed material and its former location, explain the mistake, provide the statements and consent to jurisdiction required by applicable law, and sign the request. XFOA may forward a valid counter-notice to the original claimant.
What happens after a report
XFOA may request additional information, temporarily restrict the material, notify the submitting user, preserve relevant records, or remove or disable access to content. Repeat infringement, fraudulent notices, or abuse of the reporting process may result in account restrictions. Emergency safety concerns should also be reported to the appropriate emergency service or law-enforcement agency.
